A simple and flavorful recipe that lets the turkey shine.
Ingredients:
- 4 turkey legs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 lemon (for squeezing)
Instructions:
- Prep the Turkey Legs: Pat the turkey legs dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil to ensure they don’t stick to the grill.
- Season: In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, pepper, and cayenne (if using). Rub the seasoning all over the turkey legs.
- Grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 350-375°F). Place the turkey legs on the grill and cook, turning occasionally, for about 45-60 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Finish: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the legs just before serving for a bright, zesty finish.
