Classic Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

A comforting dish made with creamy Alfredo sauce, shredded chicken, and layers of cheesy goodness.

Ingredients:

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie works well)
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups spinach (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook Lasagna Noodles: Boil the noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make Ricotta Mixture: In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Assemble Lasagna: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in the bottom of a greased baking dish. Add a layer of lasagna noodles. Spread a portion of the ricotta mixture, followed by shredded chicken and spinach (if using). Drizzle Alfredo sauce on top. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of noodles and sauce.
  4. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
